Sailor Moon Shop: DVD Movies and Specials
Sailor Moon SuperS Specials DVD
The SuperS Specials tie in with the Dead Moon Circus Saga. They feature three 22 minute episode length stories including catching up with Michiru and Haruka on vacation, Chibi-Usa's new classmate is more than she seems, and a high paced bio on Sailor Moon's graceful change into the responsible Soldier she is today. Also included is Ami's First Love, a short featurette about Mercury's battle with her first love. Each episode is in Japanese with English Subtitles, uncut and properly translated. The video quality is a near 10 depending on your specifications. Where applicable there are translation notes to help American viewers understand Japanese references better. These are a previously unreleased addition to the fourth season of Sailor Moon.
Dreaming Moon and MakeUp Sailor Senshi DVD
"Make Up! Sailor Senshi" was shown in Japanese movie theatres before the Sailor Moon R movie. Dreaming Moon was a special Sailor Moon Christmas event where the voice actors performed various Songs and acted out for the crowd of some 700 lucky enough fans to win tickets to the event. The music was not translated as it is mostly in English. The Sailor Moon Collections series would be a good addition as it contains all the songs with translations.
Each episode is in Japanese with English Subtitles, uncut and properly translated. The video quality is around a 7 depending on your specifications. Where applicable there are translation notes to help American viewers understand Japanese references better. These are a previously unreleased addition to the series.
